Air India Express , India's first international airline that offers great value for money and efficient service. The airline was established in May 2004 and started operations on April 29, 2005. Air India Express is a low-cost airline subsidiary of Air India based in Mumbai, India. It operates services mainly to the Middle East. The airline has plans for expansion into Europe and America with the arrival of new aircraft. Its main base is Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, with a hub at Indira Gandhi International Airport , Delhi.

Air India Express fleets consist of state of the art Boeing 737-800 aircraft and have single class economy. The capacity of these aircraft is around 180 seats.
