Finnair Airlines wants to connect with more Indian cities: As per Finnair, the Finish carrier, Indo-Finn air services agreement is hampering connectivity between the two countries and its plans to land in more cities in India.

As per the current agreement between India and Finland the carriers both country cannot operate between more than two cities.

Finnair at present connects capital Helsinki with New Delhi and Mumbai. Finnair Airlines has a desire to connect between other cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, where MNCs like Nokia are located.

At present, the airline connects Finland with Mumbai six times a week and it has seven flights to New Delhi in a week.

The carrier is in process of upgrading its fleet, which might get completed by 2017 is estimated to cost around euro 700 million.
